"The EKY Clinic"
We want to thank everyone again for their passion and willingness to serve at the EKY Clinic event.
It was truly a privilege to serve with each and every one of you. You all were amazing to serve with and
A blessing to get to meet. We seen God perform many miracles in not only the Guests who came to the clinic, but in the volunteers who served.
We will be working with the local ministries and churches over the next year to see how God can bring the local community
Together with creating opportunities to serve and host smaller events.
We will also be working on follow up opportunities as well.
Please be in prayer as God continues to excite the local church and people to exciting new levels of serving each other and loving
Our neighbors and community like the Lord loves us.
Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Mt 22:37-39)

Meeting Human Needs in Christ’s Name

Dear Church Leader:
Is it the desire of your congregation to be the hands and feet of Jesus in order to meet needs within your
own community? Are people willing to “move beyond religion and see the world be changed by the
power of His name?” If so, we would like to invite you to explore the Touched Twice United 2011
Initiative. The Share the Hope Clinic includes an informational training session. The clinic scheduled for
Saturday, October 17, 2009, at East Aurora High School in Aurora, Illinois.
TTU is an organization founded by Perry and Andrea Polnaszek with the goal of bringing international
medical missions into our own backyards. Since 1996, TTU has helped hundreds of churches across the
United States provide free medical, non-medical, and spiritual services to roughly a quarter million people
in need. As an example, last year Crossroads Community Church of the Fox Valley, in combination with
their sister church in Aurora, served over 1800 guests at their first one day clinic. With roughly 850
medical appointments, 480 haircuts and manicures, a food pantry, clothing, family photos, and many
decisions for Christ, it was truly one amazing God sized event!
In order that you might witness first-hand the fullness of God’s glory, we invite you to visit the next
Share the Hope Clinic on Saturday, October 17 as we serve Him and His kingdom. Our prayer is that you
and your church body would ‘catch the vision’ and prayerfully consider meeting the needs of your
community, advancing God’s kingdom by hosting a clinic, and help TTU meet their goal of having a
clinic in every county by the year 2011! If you are interested in learning more, see
www.touchedtwiceunited.org or contact Andrea at apolnaszek@mac.com.
I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me. Matthew 25:40
We suggest a combination of two to three paid and lay leaders join us from 8:00am – 12:00pm. We ask
for your prayerful consideration of our invitation to this informative event designed to fan the flames for
local missions. Please respond to the 2011 Initiative Coordinators Michael Sheridan (serving churches AL)
at michael.sheridan@PACCAR.com and Bill Doody (serving churches M-Z) at wdoody@gmail.com
if you have questions or would like to attend this special free event during the upcoming clinic.

Mark 8:22-25
So they arrived at Bethsaida where a blind man was brought to him, with the earnest request that he should touch him. Jesus took the blind man's hand and led him outside the village. Then he moistened his eyes with saliva and putting his hands on him, asked, "Can you see at all?"
The man looked up and said, "I can see people. They look like trees - only they are walking about."
Then Jesus put his hands on his eyes once more and his sight came into focus. And he recovered and saw everything sharp and clear.
